MP272 A fine Hohokam 'paint palette' carved and ground from a thin piece of gray stone. This very nice example is rectangular shaped with a slight recess in the center, the outer border with a band of incised diamond patterns and each corner with a swirl motif. Example measures approximiately 6 3/4 inches long and 4 inches wide, reglued cleanly from two halves with only one small sherd missing else complete.
